Here's a comprehensive, highly protective Refund & Return Policy updated for all your products: custom ramen tables, ramen machines, and disposable induction ramen bowls.

Studio Unni Refund & Return Policy

Studio Unni ("we," "us," or "our") sells commercial-grade products including custom ramen tables, ramen induction machines, and disposable induction-safe ramen bowls. Due to the custom nature of many items and the commercial use of our products, we maintain a strict, limited refund and return policy.

All sales are final except as explicitly stated in this policy. By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this policy in its entirety.

1. General Policy – No Refunds for Most Orders

  • We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations for change of mind, buyer's remorse, incorrect measurements/specifications provided by you, or any customer-initiated reason.
  • Custom or made-to-order products (including all ramen tables with custom graphics, sizes, branding, or designs) are non-refundable and non-returnable once production has begun.
  • Ramen machines and disposable induction ramen bowls are sold as commercial/food-service products. Returns are heavily restricted.

2. Product-Specific Rules

A. Custom Ramen Tables

  • Cancellations are accepted only within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund (minus payment processing fees).
  • After 24 hours or once production starts: No cancellations, modifications, or refunds.
  • We provide a digital proof for approval. Approval of the proof makes the order non-refundable. Delays in proof approval are your responsibility and may affect delivery.
  • We are not responsible for any design errors you approve.

B. Ramen Induction Machines

  • These are commercial equipment. All sales are final after shipment.
  • No returns or refunds for any reason other than proven manufacturing defect reported within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Used, installed, or powered-on machines are non-returnable.

C. Disposable Induction Ramen Bowls

  • These are consumable/disposable items. No returns or refunds once shipped, opened, or used.
  • Unopened cases may be considered for return within 7 days of delivery only if in perfect original condition, subject to a 35% restocking fee + return shipping paid by you. We reserve the right to refuse any return.
  • Custom-printed or specialty bowls are completely non-returnable.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items (Limited Remedy)

We stand behind our manufacturing quality, but remedies are strictly limited:

  • You must inspect all items immediately upon delivery and report any issues with clear photos/videos within 48 hours.
  • Claims after 48 hours will not be accepted.
  • For approved manufacturing defects (not damage during shipping or misuse), we may, at our sole discretion, repair, replace, or issue a partial refund. We never offer full refunds except in extreme cases of total manufacturing failure.
  • All original packaging and materials must be retained for inspection. We may require return of the item at your expense before processing any remedy.

4. Shipping & Risk of Loss

  • We are not responsible for any damage, loss, delay, or issues caused by shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.).
  • Risk of loss and title transfer to you once the item leaves our facility.
  • You are strongly encouraged to purchase shipping insurance, especially for large or expensive items like ramen tables and machines.
  • Shipping damage claims must be filed directly with the carrier. We will supply supporting documents but provide no compensation.
  • We are not liable for any delivery delays.

5. Warranties & Limitations

  • All products are sold "AS IS" with no implied warranties beyond any manufacturer warranty explicitly provided.
  • We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Studio Unni be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost sales, or business interruption) arising from your purchase or use of our products, even if advised of the possibility.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product at issue.
  • No warranties on compatibility with your specific setup, environment, or usage unless explicitly stated in writing.

6. Refunds Process (When Applicable)

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10–14 business days after inspection.
  • We may deduct restocking fees, shipping costs, or other expenses.
  • Store credit may be offered instead of cash at our discretion.
  • No refunds on shipping or handling fees.

7. Force Majeure & Other Disclaimers

We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, natural disasters, supply chain issues, pandemics).

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Imperial County, California.

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of our site or services constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
